Our Services Include
Simulated Travel
The LED Volume technology is tailor made for simulated automotive travel sequences. With a static vehicle and moving backgrounds, this creates the illusion of moving. The immersive lighting generated from the LED screens creates near perfect moving reflections. With the addition of SFX, like wind and rain, nearly any scene can be recreated.
With the scene playing out in front of their eyes actors can react to their surroundings, whether it’s steering a motorbike through city streets or an high impact crash sequence, almost anything is possible.
From feature films to long form dramas, social content to TVC’s, we’ve shot the whole range of simulated sequences. We also source plates and shoot bespoke plates, so can cater for all your requirements.
Digital Twins
We can recreate almost any environment in perfect photorealistic CGI. From supermarkets to restaurants or any space that poses shooting challenges, we can take the strain out of filming on location by recreating these to the exact detail on the LED Volume.
By using Lidar scanning and/or photogrammetry we can replicate exactly the same world in 3d, enabling you to shoot in a totally controllable and flexible environment. At the push of a button we can change a prop, product, the time of day or even the season.
While the foreground is real, with actors and physical props the background is digital and can even feature digital humans.
Once built you then own the asset so not only are you creating controllable filming environments, it’s more cost efficient and sustainable.
The same option exists using plates, which can be captured on location and then re used on the Volume.
Digital Set Extensions
This can be an excellent cost effective alternative to large ‘unsustainable’ location shoots. The vast majority of wide ‘vista’ shots only have the talent acting in a small window of the frame.
We can now capture this on the Volume and extend the scenes digitally either live on set or in post. Using the digital background, either a plate or UE asset and matching the foreground with physical props we can re create practically scene.
Choose your perfect vista, weather and time of day, it’s a great option if you need a safe controllable environment which can be significantly more cost effective and sustainable
Stills
With the latest developments in LED screen technology and higher refresh rates mean it’s now possible to shoot still campaigns in the LED Volume studio. Whether you need to shoot across multiple locations, hard to get to locations or just need a more controllable environment, Virtual Production can be a great option.
Using either matte paintings, plates or Unreal Assets, the principle is the same. It’s perfect for recreating difficult and multiple environments with 100% control over lighting, weather etc.
Given the number of campaigns that now require motion and stills this is a great flexible and cost effective options
